Why use the Winston browser extensions
The Winston browser extensions allow you to easily and quickly manage the level of protection provided for any websites you visit while connected to your Winston, while also upgrading your browser to Winston’s Ultra Privacy Mode.
What is Ultra Privacy Mode
Ultra Privacy Mode adds AI cookie filtering and anti-fingerprint protection to your web browser. Click here for more information about the benefit of Ultra Privacy Mode vs. Standard Mode.
Download the available browser extensions here:

Chrome for Windows, Mac, and Linux: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/winston/fepoafffphkpcnmmomcofalajmobmojj?hl=en
Note: By default, Chrome disables all extensions, including Winston, in Incognito Mode. To enable the Winston browser extension in Chrome’s Incognito Mode follow these instructions: https://www.itsupportguides.com/knowledge-base/google-chrome/google-chrome-how-to-enable-extensions-in-incognito/
Winston browser extensions are not currently available for other browsers, operating systems or for mobile.
To determine the version of the extension you currently have installed:
In your browser, Right click on the Winston icon in the top right corner of your browser window:
Select Manage Extensions. There you will see which version you have installed.
What about other IoT devices that don't use a browser?
The extension is intended to be used to harden browsers only. It is not possible to install extensions on most smart devices, though it's not really necessary as they are typically limited use applications (in plain English, there's no advantage to having anti-fingerprinting on a connected scale). So, devices are limited to network layer protections, which is generally quite effective.
